Reference numbers, serial numbers, case dimensions, movement markings, and surviving design details can help identify what the watch was.

Before you send a watch
Do not clean, polish, open, wind, or attempt to repair it. Do not discard loose links, crowns, crystals, dials, movement pieces, boxes, papers, receipts, or insurance documentation.
- Photograph the watch and every loose part.
- Photograph any readable numbers or markings.
- Place all components in a padded, sealed container.
- Email the photos and history for preliminary review.
- Ship only after receiving approval and instructions.
